The Higher Education Department of Odisha and IIT, Mumbai today jointly organised a workshop on the successful implementation of Spoken Tutorial Programme in the conference hall of the Utkal University with representatives from 100 Degree colleges participating. With Higher Education Additional Secretary Dr. Parthasarathi Mishra in chair, Dr Mihir Kumar Das authorised officer of the PTC, Higher Education and IIT Mumbai Training Coordinator Sudeha Sikde explained to the representatives as to how the students could benefit from the programme and how it could be successful.

Students in 100 Degree colleges will now be disseminated knowledge through this programme about computer software free of cost. The representatives have been provided with guideline booklets to create increasing interest among the students about this spoken tutorial programme and to make it a success.
