Tips For Home Education During Coronavirus

Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has changed everyone’s life around the world. Throughout the country School, Colleges and universities have been closed, and people are working remotely and maintaining physical distancing when in public space. So, we have come to offers you tips for education while staying home.

Setting up an Environment: Education is not just about schools or any educational institutes but about an environment. Though you cannot create a total environment like an educational center, you can always work on setting up indoor programs such as story writing, drawing, listening to stories, everyday activities as learning opportunities for kids. This can involve educational shows, book reading, and even quizzes to sharpen the memories.

Communicate with children: Ask your children about what they like and dislike, this alone can help you understand your child and know how to make their home education fun and interactive. Always encourage them to ask questions when uncertain about anything, which leads to precise thought processing and communication—thus helping your child to build up confidence.

Taking One step at a time: Always start with short but fun and interactive sessions. You can always extend your sessions with a fixed number of minutes every week or bi-weekly. Remember to add a combination of online and offline exercises.

Actively Monitoring Session: As vital as it is to start home education, we shouldn’t ignore that overtime home education can become dull and boring. To keep it fresh, always change your subjects and learning technics every few days. You can divide your sessions from offline reading to a video course or add audio stories or organizing an online quiz with a bunch of prizes for winners.

Staying in touch with your child’s school can also help you let your child interact with other students who might not be directly available. Children are the future of our country and don’t let lockdown ignore their education.
