Extending a helping hand to people and stray Animals during Covid-19 Pandemic

There is no greater good than helping your fellow citizen and helpless animals. Today I want to talk about the problems we are facing and how can we help each other to solve them. There are a few ideas I’d like to share with you.

  • Supporting Immigrant Workers: Some immigrant workers live on the roads and daily workers, and their life depends on a daily wage. With pandemic in full swing, the lives of such workers have been getting bad to worse. Odisha’s government has been working hard to do their part in uplifting, and supporting the poor and jobless but it’s us the people of the state who should look into this matter too.

  • Taking care of Stray Animals: India, as we know, is a country that belongs to everyone and not just humans. Animals are an essentials part of not only our religious beliefs but also of our daily lives. Coronavirus has not just left humans in perils of hope but animals too. Before the coronavirus pandemic, people used to feed the stray animals, or at least the animals were able to roam in vegetable markets to feast on leftovers. Completely lockdown has rendered their condition into a hopeless one.

  • Help fight the depression: Coronavirus Pandemic has not just left people without work or source of income but has also put the seed of depression into many. With each day, people are getting depressed and don’t know what to do. I would advise you all to listen to people. Listening costs nothing, but it unquestionably saves lives. Sometimes all a person wants is someone with whom they can share their thoughts.

  • Help Poor and needy: Humanity is all about sharing and caring. What is a human who cannot help a fellow human being? The pandemic has broken so many families and people. My appeal to you all is to look out for people who in dire need of help without considering their religion, caste, or creed. Because in the end, we are all children of God.

Let us support each other in this time of need and see that we do the best we can for each other. Tough times don’t last, but tough people do.
